Memorials are usually inscribed with details such as the deceased's name, date of birth, date of death, occupation, accomplishments along with epitaphs or meaningful words.
Epitaphs are a few words to commemorate the deceased. Some people leave instructions and details with their friends and family of what words they would like engraving before they pass. In other cases, the epitaph is left for the family or someone close to them to write after they have passed away.
Verses, quotes and sayings that are used cover a wide range of subjects such as religion, the bible, their worklife, homelife, hobbies, interests or greatest achievements.
These words incorporate your loved ones opinions and feelings towards love, life, dignity, mortality and the afterlife. Other topics covered can pay tribute to the deceased appreciation for their world views, ethics, culture and philosophies.
You can choose from many different types of engraving and fonts for memorial lettering. Traditional fonts are the most popular because they are the most legible. We can also work with our clients for different languages and alphabets for lettering and engraving where needed.

THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO DO THIS...
A memorial is a lasting symbol of remembrance, a tribute to a life now ended, perhaps a final gift to someone dearly loved, it is therefore so important that it is personalised to your loved one.
